We have achieved a significant decrease in carbon emission intensity across all locations.
Raw materials:

Packaging:
The share of recycled fibres in our packaging increased from 87% in 2022 to 90% in 2024.
Water management:
Thanks to efficiency‑improving initiatives, water consumption in our paper mills has decreased by 15%, bringing us closer to our target of 6 m³ per tonne of paper produced.

Our latest report is largely aligned with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

What does this mean?

Greater transparency and a clearer structure in presenting our path toward sustainable development.
Additionally, our data under ESRS E1 (Climate) and E3 (Water) has been externally verified, which further strengthens the credibility of our disclosures and confirms our commitment to achieving full compliance by 2028.
At the VPK Group, sustainability is more than a goal — it is part of our DNA.
